Working out of her Brooklyn studio, Diana Mitchell started making jewelry after graduating from Architecture School and studying jewelry design at FIT. Her modern take on fine jewelry uses 18k gold and diamonds. Each diamond is hand picked for its unusual shape and beautiful color, which can range from bright white, to warm champagne, and to cool gray. The diamonds are set in carved settings cast in solid gold, each setting made specifically for the diamond it holds. The pieces are characterized by clean and modern forms that feel sculptural and architectural, yet distinctly feminine.
