New Wall Art Installation

When we witnessed French artist Pierre Huyghe’s first retrospective show at LACMA last year (read about it here) we wanted something along the same lines at Voiage. Enter local artist Alissa Warshaw who stepped in to interpret Huyghe’s work via her very own site installation at our Los Angeles location. Warshaw spent over one week perfecting the coat-upon-coat technique (an ode to Huyghe’s wall sanded work titled ‘Shore’). We’re thrilled with the result and especially appreciate the textural warmth that comes from our new mural that has fittingly its been named ‘La Fenetre’ (translation: 'The Window’).
